Volunteer

The Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance is always seeking volunteers to assist in many of our programs and services.

Have you ever wanted to: work on environmental issues, make a REAL difference in your community, and improve the lives of children?

Then volunteer and assist others with our interior painting project. This project helps others by allowing them to live safely in their home by reducing lead hazards and stabilizing lead-based paint. By volunteering with Omaha Healthy Kids Alliance as an individual or in a group, you will be creating a safe and healthy environment.

If you wish to help others by volunteering either one time or on an ongoing basis, please contact us. Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Each volunteer will be given a brief training in lead and healthy homes. Volunteers will be supervised by certified staff and precautions will be employed to ensure the safety of volunteers.

We also have volunteers that work on special projects, outreach activities, fundraising or assist us in the office.
